design patterns

Here in London we had the opportunity to visit three of the cities greatest museums- the V&A, Tate Modern and British Museum. The task presented to us was to take an abstraction from each museum, and turn that into a cohesive, functional pattern. Each pattern was derived from a specific inspiration from each museum.

V&A inspiration
Middle eastern tapestry

Tate Modern inspiration
Monet's 'Waterlilies'

British Museum inspiration
African pottery piece

These were my three final patters with the V&A on top, then Tate Modern and lastly the British Museum.
